The WNBA Draft Lottery kicks off the league’s offseason on Sunday, giving one team a shot at the No. 1 pick in the April 13 draft.
The Dallas Wings enter as the favorite despite a 10-34 record this season, the worst in the league, and a step back from their 2024 playoff run.
With the fans equally anticipated as the teams, here are the start timings, TV channels, and Live Streaming options:

The lottery airing Sunday will mark the 14th straight year the network has carried the event. However, WNBA Head of League Operations Bethany Donaphin would host the 30-minute special event.
This year’s setup uses a classic ping-pong ball draw. There will be 14 balls numbered 1 through 14 placed into a machine. Four balls will be pulled to form a combination for the No. 1 pick, and then the process repeats for No. 2 after the balls are reset.

The remaining three teams slot into picks 3 through 5 based on their two-year records, with the worst team getting the edge. Odds reflect combined 2024-25 results for the five non-playoff teams from last season, but trades mean the Lynx, Storm, and Sky are entering with borrowed selections.
Dallas holds the best shot at No. 1 with 420 out of 1,000 possible combinations, guaranteeing at least the third pick no matter what.
Minnesota follows at 261 via the Sky’s pick, Seattle at 167 with the Sparks’ selection, Washington at 97 on their own, and Chicago at 55 using Connecticut’s pick from a 2024 trade that sent Marina Mabrey to the Sun.
The expansion Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo sit at sixth and seventh, order TBD.
