Aari McDonald Delivering In The WNBA
The guard pounced on the opportunity to join the pro basketball league and proved her mettle. The third overall pick in the 2021 draft scored around seven points, two rebounds, and two assists in her very first season. Her role improved in the following season, so she had her career-best average of 11 points in 2022. She faced difficulties in the 2024 season following a trade to the LA Sparks.

But a move to the Indiana Fever brought her back to the spotlight, and she delivered her best for the title contender team. Averaging around 10 points, two rebounds, and five assists, she is a key piece of Stephanie White’s rotation with 10 starts already in 17 games. Her teammates are already showering praise on the team’s midseason acquisition. Now, understanding her balancing act with the grad school and pro basketball, fans are very much in support of the guard.
