After the championship run, the player had been on the round of interviews and even on multiple high-profile magazines’ covers. Recently, Wilson landed on the cover of Vogue Magazine in a 2026 feature, where she spoke about many personal topics and her achievements.
She even recalled the event where she met her fashion icon, Beyoncé.

A’ja Wilson Gets Excited Meeting Beyonce
When asked about the celebrity players they want to see at the WNBA games. A’ja Wilson quickly mentioned entertainment and cultural icons Beyoncé and Denzel Washington. Even though the player didn’t get her wish to see the stars at her game, she met her icon at a Formula 1 event and couldn’t control her excitement.
Speaking about the moment during her recent Vogue interview, she said, “Beyoncé is amazing. Now, when I see her, I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I met that lady. Get out of the way, everybody.’ Nothing else matters.”
