A’ja Wilson Hits At WNBA Refs
In the game against the Connecticut Sun, the 29-year-old star collected 20 rebounds. Even though she fell just short of the league record for the rebounds (24 by Chamique Holdsclaw), she was dominant in the paint, winning hustle plays against strong opponents like Tina Charles and Aneesah Morrow.
She talked about her performance and rebounding flair and took shots at the WNBA refs.
“Yeah, the main thing was to hit back hard. That’s kind of how this game’s going right now. It’s like, who’s going to push more? And the pusher sometimes wins. We had to make sure we weren’t just going to take hits all night,” A’ja Wilson said in an on-court interview.

A’ja Wilson Continue To Impress In The 2025 Season
With many changes in the Las Vegas Aces lineup for the 2025 season, most of the responsibility fell on the 2024 WNBA MVP. Uncharacteristically, she had a slow start and even had a wrist injury midway through the season.
Despite all this, the star remains the top player in the league. She is averaging 22.5 points per season, second only to Napheesa Collier. She is also second in rebounds this season, collecting nearly eight missed shots per game.

The defensively strong former USC player leads the league with 2.1 blocks per game and stands in sixth position with 1.6 steals. Carrying the former champions on her back, the superstar is once again a strong contender for the MVP award and will look to win her third WNBA title this season.
