Awa Fam Idolizing A’ja Wilson
The Spanish superstar’s agent clarifies “top priority” amid speculation around 2026 WNBA draft participation. While she is one of the top candidates for the WNBA first round picks, she recently answered a question about a player she watches in the WNBA.
“Of course, A’ja Wilson. I love her. I love her vibe off the court…She can do all things. She can shoot, she can defend, she can do amazing blocks, and she helps her teammates a lot. She takes a lot of responsibility, and when I was seeing the last playoffs, and I saw her, I would love to play like her,” Fam told the podcast host Hunter Cruse.
Her assessment is spot on with the numbers backing the Aces’ superstar. Wilson led the league in scoring and blocks in multiple seasons, while the dominant players proved handy in rebounding and even in assists for Becky Hammons’ side.
