The player cemented her legacy in the league with the massive success. On her recent podcast appearance, she spoke on various topics from CBA to her WNBA championship.
Wilson even revealed that she cried after her Nike signature shoes sold out in under five minutes. During her ‘fun’ interview with Kylie Kelce, she also discussed the best advice she has received, which she still follows.

On the ‘Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce’ podcast, the host asked one of her regular questions to the Las Vegas Aces’ forward: “What great advice have they received? She gave her choice to answer it from the athletic point of view or otherwise.”

Wilson said, “I think something that’s just honestly straight to the point, and I always think about is just like ‘nobody cares, work harder.’ I sometimes have to always remind myself like nobody cares. Just continue to work hard, and no one will be able to really say anything because you’ve all, you’ve proven everything. You proved them wrong.”

During the Aces’ regular-season impressive run, Staley named A’Ja Wilson the greatest WNBA player. The player also received a Hall of Fame honor from her alma mater, right after her third WNBA championship. During her speech, she specially lauded her coach’s impact on her and her gameplay.
“She’s instilled so much in us, and how to carry yourself, how to have a great attitude, how to be great in the locker room. I’m glad that I’m a student of hers, um, a player of hers, probably a daughter of hers, because she’s really instilled all of that,” Wilson said.
Wilson was a member of the program’s first-ever NCAA title (2017), which set the tone for Dawn Staley’s team in later years. Wilson won every possible award in her college career before ruling the WNBA landscape.
