Team Clark is already facing a lot of troubles lately ahead of the WNBA All-Star game this Saturday. After Caitlin Clark and Satou Sabally opted out of the upcoming game, fans would certainly not want any other player to go out, especially A’ja Wilson.
However, her situation remains questionable after the 28-year-old sustained an injury against New York Liberty last week’s Tuesday. But according to new updates, there are some sign of good news for the fans to expect the Las Vegas Aces star this Saturday!
A’ja Wilson’s Participation In WNBA All-Star Game Is “Still To Be Determined”
Earlier this week, Team Clark’s Satou Sabally announced that she would be skipping this Saturday’s game due to an ankle injury. Just a day later, even Caitlin Clark issued a statement that she wouldn’t be participating due to a groin injury. And when fans thought things couldn’t get any worse, according to new reports, even Wilson’s participation seems to be quite unclear.
Recently, Ben Pickman, a staff writer at The Athletic, shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) writing, “Aces star A’ja Wilson says it’s still “to be determined” if she plays in Saturday night’s All-Star Game.”

She suffered a recent right wrist injury against the Liberty, and still currently has a soft brace on it.
He further added that the 28-year-old Aces star suffered an injury on her right wrist against Liberty, which happens to be a reason behind her availability status.

Notably, the Las Vegas Aces coach, Becky Hammon, also clarified that Wilson didn’t break her wrist but instead sustained a strain. Although she missed the game against the Washington Mystics, she did play for a brief time against the Golden State Valkyries and Dallas Wings.
How Did A’ja Wilson Injure Her Wrist?
During the Las Vegas Aces vs. New York Liberty game on July 8, the 28-year-old star fell on the ground in a close attempt. Wilson, who had 14 points to her name, had to sit out the entire game.

Although Wilson has an injury, she was in the Aces camps during a recent training session. However, there’s still no confirmation yet if the 28-year-old is going to participate in the WNBA All-Star this weekend or not!
