Playing against the Washington Wizards, Adebayo had a stellar night. Overtaking Kobe Bryant’s 81-point game, the Miami Heat star chimed in with 83-points. Surprisingly, as the Heat won 150-129, Wilson could be seen slipping back into the tunnel.

The Aces star has always been a strong supporter of her NBA partner. Showing her affection publicly, Wilson has cited Adebayo as ‘perfect.’ Quite expectedly, the WNBA star was spotted cheering for the Heat star in the recent game. But at one point, cameras caught her sliding back into the tunnel as Adebayo made history.
Initially, such a response left everyone baffled. Later on, the 2025 WNBA champion explained how her personal superstition drove her to exit from courtside. Wilson said, “Yeah, I was hiding a little bit. I remember, I sat down, and he missed a free throw, and I was like, ‘All right, let me go back to the back.’ But at the same time, I knew I wanted to just show my support.”

Incidentally, with such a showing, the basketball power couple had one more achievement to share. The duo is now the only couple in history to hold the single-game scoring record for the WNBA and the NBA. Wilson has scored 53 points, while Adebayo has already tallied 83.
