A’ja Wilson earned another major accolade in her illustrious career as the University of South Carolina inducted her into its athletics Hall of Fame. The event took place in Wisconsin on October 23.
Bam Adebayo was present at the event with the three-time WNBA champion, as he always showed up for her major events. Earlier in the season, Adebayo surprised Wilson during her fourth regular-season MVP award as he personally handed it over to the Aces star at the training facility.

The Miami Heat player had been around for the Aces star’s every major accomplishment, now with the HOF induction, too. At the event, Adebayo wore a striking olive-green trench coat. Underneath, he had a pair of slacks of the same hue, black shoes, and a red tie with a matching pair of glasses.

The 29-year-old WNBA forward also had a stylish look, wearing a full-body cheetah print dress and peach-colored heels as the pair posed for the camera. Earlier during the NBA practice, Bam Adebayo expressed deep admiration for Wilson’s WNBA title success with the Las Vegas Aces and bowed to her HOF induction.

At the USC event, the basketball superstar was emotional receiving the honor and said, “When you’re a Hall of Famer, no matter where you are, it’s special. And particularly here at the University of South Carolina, it’s truly been a long journey. This city, this state, has opened me with wide open arms. And I’m just grateful to kind of be a Hall of Famer now.”

“Sometimes I just randomly chuckle at all the 💩 that was said about me and my team this season 😂😂,” Wilson wrote in her post.
“Egg on A LOT of ppl’s faces 😌 I love it,” She later added in a thread.

The player had an extraordinary season individually, as she won the WNBA championship with the finals MVP and league MVP accolades. The star also captured the defensive player and scoring leader accolades, dominating the floor for the Aces.
