Team USA remained undefeated in the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers, with many debutants making a huge impact. Caitlin Clark even won the MVP accolade in her first-ever senior national team competition. But now, USA Basketball is recalling the veterans, such as A’ja Wilson and co. gets a call for the upcoming training camp.
Wilson is a two-time gold medalist and a two-time FIBA World Cup champion with Team USA. She also won four MVP awards during her national team career, starting at the junior level. For the upcoming camp, the player will have many familiar national teammates and a few new faces.

A’ja Wilson To Attend USA Basketball Camp
The FIB World Cup 2026 will start in September, and considering the packed WNBA schedule, USA basketball is keeping all its available talent up for the task with another training camp in April. But there is a major difference between previous training camps and the upcoming one: the USA basketball team has decided to overhaul the roster, adding veterans.
The upcoming training camp includes players such as Sabrina Ionescu, Paige Bueckers, Cameron Brink, Rickea Jackson, Azura Stevens, Brittney Sykes, Veronica Burton, Stefanie Dolson, and Kayla Thornton, alongside Wilson.

The list also includes Napheesa Collier and Juju Watkins, who are injured and will be spectators on the sidelines or have limited training. In December training camp, Lauren Betts joined the professional stars, while in April, Team USA called Mikayla Blakes. Big names missing from the list are Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, who shone for the national side in qualifier games.

Featuring three textures of black fabric, the armored upper gives way to a black tonal diamond all-over print on the toe-box, tongue, ankle collar, and heel. The Nike logo is in Black patent leather with the tongue logo for a bit of extra pop. To complement the look, the new colorway will have black laces.
