After losing three WNBA finals, the Atlanta Dream is one of the top contenders for the WNBA championship this season. They already set a record for most wins in a season and are closing on their most successful season. Allisha Gray has been at the center of this revolution.
Many praised her massive offensive productions. Dream rookie Ta-Hina Paopao even included Gray in the MVP discussions following her performance against the Lynx. However, the often-overlooked guard received similar treatment, as one journalist pointed out a mistake made by Amazon Prime.
Allisha Gray Reacts to Amazon Prime’s Mistake
Out of the blue (literally) the revamped Dream team is putting in a strong challenge for the title to top contenders like the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty. They occupy the third place with 27-14 record and level with the second-placed Aces.

Carrying the offensive load, the 30-year-old guard is leading the team is scoring and is among the top scorers in the league. She stands in seventh place with an 18.6 points per game average, five short of the top scorer, Napheesa Collier.
But Amazon Prime mistakenly showed Chelsea Gray in seventh place. The Las Vegas Aces guard ranks 33rd on the list with an 11.1 scoring average. USA Today reporter Meghan Hall pointed out the mistake, to which the Dream guard gave an amused reaction.

This is not the first time the 30-year-old guard has felt overlooked. Allisha Grey talked about her All-Star selection after a long wait. Although she has little chance of winning the MVP title, considering other contenders’ stats, the former South Carolina star had a solid season and will look to win the title.
Allisha Gray’s Offensive Game Puts Atlanta Dream In Contenders List
In the 2025 season, the Atlanta Dream side has been offensively explosive following their strong back-court and front-court pairing. Their 107 offensive rating is second only to the Minnesota Lynx in the league.
Leading from the front is Gray, who not only leads the team in scoring but also provides four assists in the games. Matching her career-best shooting performances, she has been a clutch player for the Atlanta side and will be an important piece in the team’s quest for the first title.
