The 33-year-old has been the ‘engine’ of the Mercury gameplay with the ‘triple-double’ leader impacting the games in every department. While a comeback win in Game 2 was a morale booster for the Mercury side, the forward highlights that it could also bring in more heat from the Lynx.

Speaking to Hoops 360, the Mercury star emphasized that the table-toppers would feel devastated if they lost Game 2 against the Mercury after missing the championship in 2024.
“The experience of going to the finals and losing in the finals, I mean, that’s something you don’t forget. We know they will probably be mad about Game 2, and we gotta be ready to play from the jump,” Thomas said.
