The NCAAW season is nearly over, and many teams now have much to think over about their future. Teams like UConn, South Carolina, and UCLA might be thinking about the championships, while Kim Caldwell and her Tennessee side might be looking for ‘improvements’ to stay relevant in the league.
WNBA analyst Andraya Carter was not happy with the team’s performance and especially the 43-point defeat against South Carolina. While coach Caldwell’s bashing effectively improved their performance in later games, it also irked Carter.

Andraya Carter With Heavy Criticism On Kim Caldwell
The top teams continued their dominant form in their respective conferences to book a place in March Madness with high rankings. Teams like South Carolina, UCLA, and UConn build a substantial lead with dominant early conference wins. Tennessee, though, had inconsistent results to show and now ranks out of the top 20.
The ESPN representative fired shots at the coach during the College GameDay episode as she said, “I know she said this team has a lot of quit – to me when I watch them, what they have is no belief. And when you’re playing on a team, this is any team, you’ve got to believe in yourself.”

While Carter argued the issue goes beyond effort, and raised questions over the coach’s system of high-volume three-point attempts. Although the team is struggling a bit and looking for words of encouragement, Coach finds ‘fun’ in coaching them.
Kim Caldwell Happy To Coach Tennessee
After giving a tough fight to the Texas team, the Lady Vols were close to beating a top 10 team – Oklahoma on College GameDay. Sadly, they lost 100-93 to No. 9 Oklahoma at Lloyd Noble Center. Was it another disappointment? Not for the coach.
“I think you just be honest, and they can handle it or notAnd sometimes the honesty is not good, and sometimes the honesty is good. And tonight, honestly, our team was fun to coach. We definitely made some basketball errors, but the people who were on the floor played hard. They played together,” the coach said in the press conference.
While the idea is showing improvements, they certainly need to show some results to keep the fans, former players happy and also aim for the title.
