Team USA will play its final FIBA World Cup qualifiers game against Spain on Tuesday, wrapping up the successful campaign in Puerto Rico. It had been a fruitful experience for the rookies in Team USA, especially Angel Reese, Cailtin Clark, and Paige Bueckers, who would be pillars of the national side in the coming years.
After influencing the WNBA in their early pro years, the trio went on to make an impact on the senior national side, with billions of eyes watching and judging their performances. But they shrug off the pressure with their clinical performances, as Breanna Stewart praised Clark and Reese for handling pressure over the years.
As for the Chicago Sky forward, though, it had been a very busy offseason, and the player is happy about the same, showing her excitement via a social media post.

Angel Reese Opens Up On Busy Offseason
The Chicago Sky season ended early in September, and the team missed the playoffs with just 10 wins. Reese infamously ditched the exit interview and started working on her offseason project. The player was part of three movie projects and also a mega fashion show highlighting her interests and popularity.
On the business and personal front, too, the player travelled to Australia for her shoe launch and travelled across Europe, supporting her boyfriend. She recently shared the destinations she visited on her Instagram stories and wrote, “I literally had the best offseason EVER. I have been to all these places in past seven months, so grateful and thankful.”

Angel Reese Happy To Be Part Of Winning Culture
The two-time all-star bettered her performances in her second season in the WNBA. Sadly, it was not enough to put the Sky team in the postseason, which led to massive criticism for the former LSU star. The star also expressed her frustration at missing the playoffs for the second season in a row. During her podcast show, Reese sent a wakeup call to Chicago Sky management to reach the 2026 WNBA playoffs.
But this was not the case for Team USA, which has so far managed an undefeated run in the competition. There were smiles in the USA camp as the side put on another flawless performance despite playing back-to-back games in less than 24 hours. After the recent win, an interviewer asked the Chi Town Barbie about her favorite part of Team USA’s character, and the star immediately responded, “Winning.”
