Angel Reese had quite the meltdown since the Chicago Sky bowed out of the league last season. Taking a shot at her own teammates, Reese’s exit interview sparked Sky trade rumors. While there were a lot of expectations from Sky, the team was languishing at the bottom.
Lashing at her teammates, Reese pointed out that the team must not rely on players like Courtney Vandersloot anymore. She also stated that, other than herself and Kamilla Cardoso, the Sky must look to add more quality players.
Surely, following her remarks, there were significant concerns as to whether the Chi-Town Barbie would come back to Chicago. Thankfully, for the fans, the doubts are over. Reese recently confirmed her decision to play for Chicago in 2026.

Adding further, the Sky star pointed out that her first and foremost goal this year will be to keep herself injury-free. Meanwhile, as the star player looks to rejuvenate Sky’s season, Reese has been getting a lot of online hatred. Recently, reacting to the same, Last-Tear Poa boldly defended Reese.
Last-Tear Poa Takes A Shot At Angel Reese’s Haters
Despite all her stellar shows, Reese has been one of the stars who has found herself amidst constant controversies. However, as per her former LSU teammate, the Chi-Town Barbie deserves a lot of respect for her impact on the sport.
“I might get hate for this, but she’s the main reason why women’s basketball changed that year. She brought intensity and stood on business. I loved playing with Angel. I wish I could again. She taught me a lot, on and off the court. Being the point guard, when I got the ball, she was running, she made things easy. And if we shot, she’d get the rebound. Her shoulders were heavy, but she wore that crown to the top,” said Poa.
