Angel Reese just cannot keep herself out of the news. Whether she is involved in a controversy or creating history, the Chi-Town Barbie is always grabbing the spotlight. In a recent fiasco, Angela Yee falsely quoted Reese involving her with Marilyn Monroe.
And if that was not enough, the Bayou Barbie was recently shocked to see people misquoting her regarding the CBA talks. A post claiming Reese has denied playing for the WNBA until she gets NBA-like money did the rounds. Things progressed to the point where the Chicago Sky star had to come forward and publicly debunk the allegations.
However, all these controversies have done very little to thwart Reese’s confidence. While Reese stole the spotlight with an Amazon Fashion collaboration, she recently got a huge shoutout from Cardi B.
Angel Reese Gets Cardi B’s Approval On Her Viral TikTok Dance
Cardi B has been hitting the charts once again. Her song ‘ErrTime’ from the 2025 album, ‘Am I The Drama’ has been going viral all over the internet. Soon, several fans made it a trend by remixing parts of the song and dancing to the same.

Recently, the Chicago Sky star, too, decided to jump into the trend. While Reese uploaded her video on TikTok, she was more than delighted to find out that Cardi B herself had taken notice of the same.
The rapper reposted Reese’s video on one of her Instagram stories. The WNBA rookie star was seen dancing on a balcony, wearing a black sweatshirt, white sweats, and sunglasses.

Now then, this is not the only time the duo has shared pleasantries. In fact, both Reese and Cardi B have a good rapport. Back in June 2023, the WNBA star appeared in one of Cardi B’s music videos, ‘Put It On Da Floor Again.’ Meanwhile, the rapper is not the only person appreciating Reese. One of her former LSU teammates, Last-Tear Poa, boldly defended the Chicago Sky star.
Last-Tear Poa Expresses Her Support Towards Angel Reese
There are people trying to talk negatively about the Sky star. However, for names like Last-Tear Poa, Reese is one of the biggest inspirations. With one of her July statements resurfacing, Poa stated how the Sky star has been heavily responsible for the recent boom in women’s basketball.

“I might get hate for this, but she’s the main reason why women’s basketball changed that year. She brought intensity and stood on business. I loved playing with Angel. I wish I could again. She taught me a lot, on and off the court. Being the point guard, when I got the ball, she was running, she made things easy. And if we shot, she’d get the rebound. Her shoulders were heavy, but she wore that crown to the top,” Poa said to basketball.com.au.
