Angel Reese’s agent, Jeanine Ogbonnaya, shared a bold plan for the Sky star’s career beyond the WNBA. She pointed out that after Reese retires from basketball, she will need to be a name big enough to keep the finances flowing.
Well, by the looks of it, Ogbonnaya’s plan is already in the works. That’s because in recent times, the Chi-Town Barbie has been spotted making some major moves outside of the hardwood.
Sue Bird congratulated Reese following her signature shoes selling out. And now, once again, while the latest sneaker drop has been sold out, the Sky Star has a message for the ones who missed it in the first go.
What Did Angel Reese Tell Her Sneakerhead Fans?
Reese made history when she collaborated with Reebok to drop her signature sneaker line. Now, to take things up a notch, the 23-year-old has recently announced a special-edition sneaker honoring her Baltimore roots.
According to the announcements, the AR1 debuted a violet color to pay tribute to Charm City. The city from where it all started. As per the Sky star’s words, “This one’s for Charm City, to honor my roots and the community of Baltimore that has backed me from day one.”

And as soon as the drop went live, fans bought it like hotcakes. Unfortunately, many fans were unable to get their hands on the coveted sneaker.

This was certainly pleasant news for the fans. Meanwhile, as Reese continues to grow, she recently took a dig at her haters for the ‘mebounds’ trolling.
Angel Reese Mocks Haters After Making Six-Figures Off ‘Mebounds’
Reese debuted back in 2024 as one of the potential future superstars of the WNBA. Now, while her team’s performance was awful, the 23-year-old did impress mightily.

Looking at her impressive rebounding skills, Reese received a lot of praise. On the flip side, several critics pointed out that most of those rebounds resulted from her own missed shots. Thus, they trolled her, calling it ‘mebounds.’
Surprisingly, instead of getting offended, Reese took the phrase and launched her own ‘mebounds’ bags.
Speaking about the same, the Sky star stated, “They tried to clown me for rebounds, and what did I do? I made a bag off of it. Six figures plus. Y’all can try again, because I do need another idea for some more colorways, so just keep it coming.”
Thus, it was well-known that Reese is a great basketball player. However, it now appears that her business skills are equally impressive.
