In recent times, people can no longer confine Angel Reese to the WNBA sphere alone. Apart from her time on the court, the Chicago Sky star has been making some steady progress building her brand outside of the league. For example, Reese’s recent ‘ErTime’ TikTok dance had the approval of Cardi B.
And not only that, the 23-year-old rookie star also mesmerized fans with her stunning debut for Victoria’s Secret. Adding more to her ornamented glamour CV, Reese stole the spotlight with an Amazon collaboration at the recently concluded CFDA awards.
And while she is not stopping anytime soon, the Sky star is about to make yet another public appearance. This time, she will be a part of the HBCU Aware Fest.
Angel Reese Announces Latest Appearance At The HBCU Aware Fest
In a recent statement made on Instagram, Reese confirmed her appearance at the HBCU Aware Fest. Taking to her Instagram story, the 23-year-old wrote, “Excited to be a part of the inaugural HBCU Awarefest in ATL!”

Alongside the post, she also attached a promotional photo of herself for the event. As per the official reports, the HBCU Aware Fest is set to take place on March 26, 2026, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Interestingly, Reese will not be the only five-star guest appearing at the show. She will be joining the likes of NBA star Chris Paul, Ryan Clark, and more. Speaking about live performances, iconic names like John Legend, GloRilla, and Coco Jones will look to set the stage on fire.
Meanwhile, despite being busy with her off-court engagements, Reese has not forgotten her hooping duties. And while she is looking to deliver a better performance next season, she extended her support towards her former coach, TJ Weatherspoon.
Angel Reese Extends Her Support To TJ Weatherspoon
Reese started her WNAB journey under Weatherspoon. Unfortunately, after Sky failed to make an impact, Weatherspoon was immediately shown the door. However, that did not diminish the Chi-Town Barbie’s admiration for her former coach at all. In fact, she still has a great rapport with her and is pretty much vocal about Weatherspoon’s impact on her career.

“I think it made my rookie year pretty easy because I had a coach that already played the game, already knew what it was, and could keep it real because you’re a player’s coach… That’s why I kind of respected Rob and Spoon so much, because you guys have played the game, Spoon won the championship. Just being able to see that part of it was really important,” said the Bayou Barbie.
Thus, with Reese having an eventful offseason, fans would be eager to see how she performs going into the next season.
