Angel Reese’s all manifestations are becoming reality in not more than three to four years. The player dreamt of being on the ramp for the big fashion brand and collaborated with Victoria’s Secret during the 2025 WNBA offseason. Similarly, she acted in a movie during her college years as she wished.
But it’s not only her aspirations to make a mark in the entertainment and fashion industry that became reality, but her community work desires also became reality, with her recent visit to HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) AwareFest.
Interestingly, the player also fulfilled one of the band members’ dreams as she attended the event in Atlanta.

Band Member Gives Adorable Reaction To Angel Reese’s High Five
Playing for LSU, Angel Reese expressed her desire to attend the HBCU summit to help the needy ones, as the team played in Coppin & Morgan State back in 2022. Fast forward to 2026, the player was the key speaker at the HBCU AwareFest in Atlanta.
While attending the event, the Sky superstar casually gave a high five to the extended arm of a band member. He couldn’t control his emotions and did a little dance celebrating the moment.

At the event, she spoke about her growing impact beyond basketball and her support for the initiative. During a conversation with Ryan Clark, she lightheartedly shouted out “short kings” and discussed her professional journey.
While her appearances and speech were not a mere PR stunt, the athlete actually cares about the community, as her foundation work speaks volumes.
Angel Reese Foundation Working Towards Empowering Communities

Founded in 2023, The Angel C. Reese Foundation works towards empowering girls and underrepresented groups through innovative initiatives in sports, education, and financial literacy.
However, the key objectives of the foundation were to create opportunities for those who didn’t have much privilege or resources to thrive, particularly within the Baltimore and Chicago communities.
Incidentally, her foundation didn’t only work for any particular group or community, as Angel Reese’s Foundation became the biggest donor for the 53 Families Foundation Holiday Toy Drive.
