The successful basketball player also thrived in the fashion and entertainment world and took her business to the next level with new collaborations and partnerships.
Amid this, she stayed connected to the WNBA and even recently reflected on how she spent her new, bigger paycheck from the league. Covering all the bases, she maintained good relations with her close ones and recently attended a baby shower for her close friend, Latto.

The rapper spoke about being in the relationship, and on March 20, she broke the news of her pregnancy alongside the announcement of her upcoming studio album, Big Mama.
Incidentally, Latto dedicated one of her songs from the new album to Reese, who also attended the baby shower event as Godmother.

As per the images shared on social media, the private gathering had many esteemed and close guests. While 21 Savage was not visible in the posts online, invitations to the event included his legal name, Shéyaa, signaling his connection to the occasion.

But that’s not the only event she was at in the region. The player was a special guest for the HBCUFest at the end of March and gave an inspirational speech.
Angel Reese Gives Speech At HBCUFest
The former LSU star had been one of the iconic and successful figures from her community, and she always tries to give back to the community in one way or another. During the 2022 college season, the forward played at Coppin & Morgan State and always wanted to be associated with the HBCU community to help them grow.
In her third season in the WNBA, she got the chance and was a key speaker at the HBCUFest in Atlanta, and she said, “I am supporting Howard today at my HBCU event because, why not? I always wanted to go to Howard because… I always actually wanted to go to HBCU. But I also wanted to play in Power 5. So, tough decisions. But in my second life, I will be a HBCU alum, and I will be a Howard alum because I just know I want to go to Howard. It’s close to home. I’m from Maryland, so it’s close.”
