The CBA Deal made many players millionaires. During the discussions, WNBPA aimed for the mega deal that would hand financial stability to players who are putting in the effort to make the league successful. Angel Reese delivered a strong negotiation message during the WNBA-CBA standoff and also criticized the low pay.
But now the CBA Deal will hand every player a substantial raise in their pay and possibly make top earners a millionaire. The former LSU star had this ‘massive earning’ during her college days with multiple NIL Deals, and she recently spoke about her struggles with the ‘sudden wealth’.

Angel Reese Struggles With Massive Income In Her College Days
With her growing influence in Australia, Reese graces the Vogue Australia cover in stunning new photos featuring her signature AR1 shoes. During the cover story, the player spoke about the fortunes she made as a college player, but also the struggles that came with it.
Reese said, “I got money so fast I didn’t know what to do with it. I was like, ‘Oh sh-t, I’m a millionaire at 20?’ They do not teach you how to file taxes at school. My grandmother would tell me to save money for a rainy day, but really, I’m the first in my family to have this kind of financial freedom.”
Angel Reese has more NIL deals than any other D-I basketball player in the country.
