Angel Reese is usually busy with her own projects inside and outside of the WNBA court. For example, with her signature shoes selling out in seconds, the Chicago Sky star earned Sue Bird’s praises. Next up, she also had her fans taken by surprise as she joined her Unrivaled team, Rose BC mid mid-season.
Unfortunately, while the Chi-town Barbie failed to do much for the Rose BC, her fashion choices did get significant attention from Lisa Leslie and Skylar Diggins. However, despite having so much on her hands, the 23-year-old star never forgets to take time out and appreciate her family. As her brother cracked an NBA deal, Reese felt like hitting a jackpot.

Angel Reese Elated With Her Brother’s NBA Selection
The 2-time WNBA All-Star has always been very proud of her brother. But when Julian Reese signed a two-way contract with the Washington Wizards, the 2023 NCAA champion’s joy knew no bounds. Heaping praises on Julian, the Chicago Sky star publicly announced her excitement about the news.
Immediately after the signing, Julian was asked to join the team for the season. And the Bayou Barbie did not waste any time extending her support towards her little brother. Playing his second NBA game on March 3, 2026, Julian found her sister decked up in his jersey. She even cheered for the Wizards, ditching her hometown, the Orlando Magic.
Speaking about her further in the on-court interview, the Sky star said, “I’m really happy for him. I mean I was so emotional when I found out. I was crying so hard like I just hit the lottery. He’s gonna bring that passion. I mean, he plays really hard, he’s really strong.”
"As soon as I heard he was going to be on the team, I was like… I need a jersey." 🫶

Surely, such an emotional response from Reese only further portrays her strong inclination towards family bonding. Meanwhile, shifting focus from her brother, the 23-year-old had quite a blunt take on the recently released All-Unrivaled Team.
Is Angel Reese Unhappy With The All-Unrivaled Team Selection?
As the Unrivaled’s second edition is in its last lap this year, the league recently announced its season-ending awards. Surprisingly, despite being touted as a major contributor to the Rose BC, the 2023 NCAA champion was left out. With the likes of Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, and Paige Bueckers forming a prestigious team, Reese had a blunt reaction.
“I mean Duh,” she commented on the post.
What she intended to convey was that the selections were perfect. And since she joined the team late, there was no way the Bayou Barbie could have been included in the list.
Now, as the attention shifts to the WNBA, fans will be eager to find out how the Sky star will perform this year.
