The USA training camp might be over, but Angel Reese is still on the court. No, she didn’t attend any NBA game this time, nor was she practicing harder, but she was keeping tabs on her brother Julian’s games in the NBA G League.
Earlier, Reese shared her pride over ‘baby brother’ Julian Reese’s NBA debut with the Toronto Raptors 905. And now, after a 14-game unbeaten run, the Raptors 905 set a record for the best start in G League history, marking the most consecutive wins to start a season ever.

Angel Reese Feeling Proud Of Brother Julian
The Raptors 905 is leading the NBA G League, with their unbeaten run in the 2024-25 season. The 2017 champions are looking for their second title in the league, with Julian Reese delivering heavy numbers on the floor for them.
The Chi-Town Barbie is happy for her brother and shared the video from the Raptors’ locker room where his teammates are boosting him for his near double-double performance against the Westchester Knicks. Reese shared the video on her Instagram story and wrote, “Shiftyyy”, which is his nickname on the court.

Reese went undrafted in the NBA draft but found a place with the Toronto Raptors’ G League team, where he is one of the influential players for the side.

On her own work front, ESPN predicts that Reese will be among the protected players for the Chicago Sky even after the recent saga around her open criticism.
While she lauded her brother, who shone for the Raptors’ historic run and for topping the division, the player is also a target for her franchise in the upcoming season.
Angel Reese Sets Target For Chicago Sky
Reese is one of the top rookies in the league, setting records for double-doubles and also leading the league for rebounds. The side, though, let her down, finishing out of the top 8 in both seasons. On her podcast, Reese sent a warning for her side.
Reese said, “Win win win win. 2026, I am looking for the playoffs. I am trying to get to the playoffs. I hate to be at home watching finals. It is not great. I wanna be in the finals. Just give me the finals, just give me the playoffs.”

The player was heavily linked to the Dallas Wings for most of the offseason, but she confirmed her return to the Chicago Sky and also mentioned that she is healthy. It will be interesting to see whether the star will remain with the franchise and, if so, whether the franchise will meet her expectations.
