Angel Reese completed her sophomore season with the Chicago Sky, leading the league in rebounds for the second consecutive year and earning an All-Star call on both seasons. While she is one of the top players in the WNBA, her brother, Julian Reese, is looking to make a mark in the NBA.
The star played in the summer league for LA and already played with Toronto for their preseason finale against the Nets. Reese, who is a trade prospect following her exit interview change, reacted to the new development in her brother’s career.
Angel Reese Lauds Her Brother’s Recruitment
The 2020 NBA champions are looking to make amends for their recent team-building around their young core and star players. They added Julian Reese, a former Maryland star and brother of Reese, to an Exhibit 10 contract. This is his second team in the league after signing for the Lakers’ G League side.

The Chicago Sky forward was pumped up by the news, who is busy with her own off-court assignments and ventures. But the 2024 WNBA rookie took to social media to exclaim how proud she was of her younger brother. “Congrats to my baby brother! Love you!” she wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) account.

Even though the contract period is short, he could display his capabilities and earn a long-term contract with the Raptors. While he has a strong resume to earn an NBA call, Reese is pushing his resume and hyping him up for an early chance in the NBA.

Rese was not the only one feeling proud of her. Her personal team, including the lawyer, marketing manager, and manager, attended her behind-the-scenes walk and practice session. They were all smiles, looking at the 23-year-old star dazzle on the floor.
