The Unrivaled inaugural season was a massive hit among the fans, with the league expanding to eight teams in its second season. Many fans expected the return of the season 1 players. But many big names were missing from the roster announced early in November 2025. One such star was defending champion Angel Reese.
WNBA fans reacted to the news as Reese missed the cut for the Unrivaled second season, though she made her decision at the start of the 2025 season only. But the player could be seen in action earlier than expected as she shared a mysterious post, hinting at her possible return to action.

But out of the blue, the 24-year-old star responded to a fan’s heartfelt plea saying, “I miss @Reese10Angel hoops.” While she also shared a similar post a few days back, she responded with “Soon” and a winking emoji.
