The love and friendship between the two forwards is well known to the WNBA fans now. During the regular-season game, Reese went viral for hugging Kahleah Copper after the Sky-Mercury clash. She even presented her with a perfect gift on Copper’s birthday.
Now, when the former LSU forward came across Copper’s social media plea, she quickly responded with “you can always come back to this side” comment.

While the playful tease was regarding Copper’s age, as the two-time All-Star often calls her ‘grandma’. The duo had an inside joke during their Unrivaled game as the 24-year-old Reese was trying to make a TikTok Video and asked Copper to join. The Mercury forward refused and opted to stay behind the camera. That time, Reese poked fun at her, saying, “Grandma, you are not that old.”
