Fans will be back in their seats for more Angel Reese action, this time behind the mic, though. The Sky forward’s podcast is back, and the first episode is already making waves with Reese’s bold claims and shots at the trolls.
When her Reebok shoes were sold out, Reese’s prophetic video from last year resurfaced, which emphasized that the star gets what she wants. And now she claimed that her merchandise sales are also booming, with her ‘Mebound’ products reaching six-figure sales. But fans think differently.
Fans Accuse Angel Reese Of False Claims Regarding Mebound Sales
During her first season, the former LSU star took over the league with her unmatched rebounding ability. She led the league in rebounding, but those who watched the games claimed that she was taking rebounds of her own missed shots below the rim. The new term ‘Mebound’ came into existence to troll.

Rather than getting angry about it, the Sky forward decided to make use of it for a new merchandise line. She trademarked the word “Mebound” and started selling merchandise. In the latest episode of the ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast, she opened up about her sales figures in an attempt to laugh at the haters.
“Mebounds, if you know, you know. They tried to clown me for rebounds, and what did I do? I made a bag off of it, six figures plus. Thank you. So, y’all can try again, because I do need another idea for some more colorways. So just keep it coming,” she said in promo.

But instead of shutting down the trolls, she attracted some more as fans claimed that the figure is exaggerated and even demanded receipts.

Critics never miss a chance to diminish Reese’s image and even the products she endorses. Even her signature shoes were targets for them. Reese’s Reebok shoes faced WNBA fan backlash over quality concerns following a hyped release. But the forward is not backing down.
Angel Reese Clap Back At Trolls
At the end of her 2025 campaign, the 23-year-old shared a post not to thank her team or reflect on her season but to let the critics know that they don’t affect her.
“YEAR 2. You taught me so much. You taught me so many lessons. You showed a TON of growth. You fought through SO much adversity. Yet you still PREVAILED, still showed up, and God has a plan for you. This is only the beginning,” Reese wrote.
After that, during the first episode of the new season of her podcast, the forward decided to reveal the reasons behind her Reebok colorways, which again targeted her trolls. Midway into the episode, she opened up on the idea behind the names of variants, and it was clear that she wanted to let the world know what she feels about them.

“I was like, ‘Okay, let’s launch three shoes. … Let’s give them three things to taste on and let’s see what it’s like.’ The three are dropped. The ‘Mebounds,’ we’ll talk about that. The ‘Diamond Dust,’ which I have on and the ‘Receipts Ready,’ cause I keep the motherf**king receipts ready,” Angel Reese said.
Reese is finding tons of success off the court thanks to her ‘hate club’ members, who constantly keep her in the news. It is evident that she asked for more from the trolls to get a new business idea.
