The Chicago Sky is currently having one of the worst seasons, with just five wins and 12 losses. Star rookie Angel Reese has been one of the best performers for the team, but it just doesn’t look like enough. The Sky faced the Minnesota Lynx in their last match-up, where they suffered a huge loss after a good start.
Reese wasn’t the only one from her team who gave her best. Meanwhile, one of her teammates was also supporting her and the team. She had the best game of her career since joining Chicago. With this performance, she surely is going to be a mainstay for the team.
Rachel Bonham Gets Teary-Eyed Acknowledging Chicago Sky’s Locker Room
After a strong performance against the Minnesota Lynx, Bonham has proved why she is a veteran in the game. She scored 20 points with two rebounds and two assists. Even with such a performance, they fell short against the reigning WNBA champions. But after the match, Rachel Banham was asked many questions.

Some were around her performance, while some were about her. But one question made her all teary and chummy. Being a nine-year veteran in the sport, it felt as if she had never been asked this question. A reporter during the post-match asked her how she feels to be the ‘heart of the team’, considering all the roles she is given during the plays. She got all emotional after that.
“Yeah, I’m just really lucky to be a part of this team, honestly. I have amazing teammates. My coaches have been incredible. It honestly hasn’t been that hard because they’re just so great for me. They just build me up all the time, and they believe in me in the times when I don’t believe in myself, so it really means a lot.” Rachel Bonham said.

Following her second straight selection as a reserve, Angel Reese will be the only member of the Chicago Sky to represent the team at WNBA All-Star weekend. Her average is among the highest in the league.
Reese has maintained his dominance as a rebounder, averaging 8.3 defensive rebounds and 4.3 offensive rebounds per game, while juggling this new offensive position. The WNBA All-Star game will start on July 19 at Indianapolis’ Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 8:30 p.m. ET.
