During the NBA offseason, Bam Adebayo was a regular at WNBA games with his love interest, A’ja Wilson, making an incredible run to lift her third WNBA title. After the title win, Wilson had an emotional moment with Adebayo.
All this came in a recent context, as the three-time NBA All-Star won a quiz contest by demonstrating his extensive WNBA knowledge.
Adebayo and his Miami teammate Norman Powell answered a few basketball-related questions, where the veteran forward won the contest with his familiarity with the WNBA.

The Maimai Heat forward pair sat in front of the camera, trying to guess the basketball player from the list of accolades. While both players were focusing on their own league and answered the initial questions correctly, the last question tricked them.

The question was finding a player with “three championships, seven All-Star appearances, and three defensive player of the year titles, two Olympic Gold medals.”

The unique combination confused both NBA stars as they scratched their heads for such a ‘unique’ athlete. But after hearing the accolades slowly and the addition of the number one overall pick hint, Adebayo had a big smile, answering ‘A’ja Wilson’
The 28-year-old forward has a close relationship with the former South Carolina star, who accompanied her to her Jersey retirement ceremony and attended her every game. Adebayo even-handed Wilson her fourth regular-season MVP award.
Incidentally, the Miami Heat star not only accompanies the Aces’ superstar to events or hands out accolades, but he is also more actively involved in her development as a player. The reigning MVP spoke about the same during the 2025 postseason.

The key part of her game and command around the rim is her footwork, where the 29-year-old forward outsmarts her opponents. She shared the insights during the semifinal series against the Indiana Fever.
“I’m better this year because I had a front-row seat to one of the best in the game. His footwork is such an underrated part of his skill set,” Wilson said via ESPN.
