The WBNA and WNBPA will have an all-important face-to-face meeting to find a solution to the CBA standoff and get the season underway. While the meeting is in New York, not many players would be able to join the discussions. WNBA fans, though, want Caitlin Clark to be part of the CBA meeting, calling her the league’s most important player.
Although many will see this as the fans’ love and support for the 2024 rookie, an NBA Hall of Famer also has similar views about the player.

Six-Time NBA Champion Talks About Treatment for Caitlin Clark
A member of the Boston Celtics’ golden generation era, Bob Cousy was in an interview with Boston Globe’s Dan Shaughnessy. When the WNBA came up, the 13-time All-Star had nothing but praise for the star and also warned the league to treat her with care.
“She’s had a tremendous impact on that league and their earning potential. They should be kissing the ground she walks on, not trying to foul her and get her out of the game. It’s a saleable product and she’s done a really good job selling it. It’s enjoyable. My son-in-law is from Indiana and he’s a Clark fan. She’s exceptional,” the Celtics’ former guard said.
