As a co-owner, she is also looking after the Unrivaled league, making decisions for the league, and as a player, leading the Mist BC to its first championship. While the WNBA duo has multiple factors impacting her role, at Unrivaled she found massive success – winning the championship too.

Breanna Stewart’s Confident Statement After Unrivaled Season 2 championship
Scoring 32 points in the 80-74 win over the Phantom BC, the former UConn star won the finals MVP Award. But the star was happy with her first-ever Unrivaled championship after winning a title in every competition she played in.
In the press conference, the forward said, “I think I pride myself on being a winner and continuing to kind of uplift and build a space for all players, and that’s what I am really excited about.”

While the player proudly celebrated her championship, it was also an indirect jab at the WNBA’s operations amid the stalled CBA talks. It’s interesting that the player already signed for EuroLeague games after the Unrivaled season, which is another challenge for the WNBA’s strict reporting policy.

The 3-on-3 league has been a massive hit among the fans, and now the league is looking to innovate with its operations and expand in the coming years, too.
Upon the recent success, the Liberty star said, “You see the money, numbers, everything going up. But also, you see the level of play from year one to year two. You see people being aware of how to play the game, how to get your buckets.”
