Breanna Stewart had been quite a polarizing figure in the women’s basketball realm. Her active involvement in the ongoing CBA fiasco has made the headlines more than once. Failing to find a solution up until now, the 31-year-old has decided to go overseas.
In a recent controversial move, the New York Liberty star has re-signed for Fenerbahce. While such a move has drawn widespread criticism, Stewart will be chasing history. Having already won 2 EuroLeague titles, she is now chasing her fourth. And speaking of making history, her recent campaign with Patrick Mahomes is quite a special one in itself.

Breanna Stewart Joins Hands With Patrick Mahomes And Thorne SPORT COFFEE
The Liberty star has been phenomenal inside the court. She played a vital part in guiding New York to the WNBA championship back in 2024. Stepping out of the court, Stewart has now become the only female athlete to join hands with Thorne SPORT COFFEE. Incidentally, she also enters a star-studded partners’ group that includes the NFL star, Mahomes.
“It just seems really natural and fitting for me. It’s a huge win and I think just to see athletes like myself [and] Patrick Mahomes continue to partner with Throne just shows why. Because all of these supplements — vitamin B, protein and natural caffeine — is essential to help us be our best on and off the court, or on and off the field, they say in football. I’m really excited it all came to fruition,” said an excited Stewart to FOX Business.
Becoming an immediate face of the premium coffee brand, the 31-year-old opened up about her inclination towards coffee. She also pointed out that some of her favorite flavors were salted caramel, mocha, and plain black coffee.

What Is Breanna Stewart’s Take On The CBA Dilemma?

The WNBPA recently wanted a 27.5% revenue share. This was significantly lower than their initial demand of 30%. However, the leadership shrugged it off and offered a 15% share instead. Moreover, with no signs of free agency and the WNBA draft yet, most athletes are concerned about their future. Thankfully, it looks like the 3-time WNBA champion has found something to cheer about.
“The CBA proposal that we got, there’s movement. We got traction. We’re finally headed in a direction. So I’m excited. I’m excited to hopefully negotiate back, and really kind of do the negotiations,” Stewart said in an episode of the ‘Game Recognizes Game’ podcast.
