The Unrivalled season 2 took a massive leap from its inaugural season, expanding to new franchises and playing across three different venues. Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier received widespread praise for their bold step, including from their former coach, Geno Auriemma, whose early investment doubled in just one year.
While the Unrivalled season 2 will have its winner on March 4, its part-owner will be flying out of the country for a EuroLeague venture, confirmed by the foreign league.

Breanna Stewart to Play For Fenerbahce
The former UConn star is a winner, and she has every trophy from the competitions she participated in in her cabinet. With four NCAA Championships, she already holds a college record and even won three WNBA titles, earning Finals MVP recognition.
Recently, Fenerbahce announced the signing of the Liberty star, who played for the club in 2023 and won their first title with an MVP performance that night.

The versatile forward already won the league twice in her career and will be aiming for her third title with a strong Fenerbahce team. She could join the team in time for the EuroLeague Women Final Six games. Interestingly, the competition final will be on May 8, which is the start date of the 2026 season per the WNBA’s schedule.

Breanna Stewart Hints At Progress In CBA Discussions
The WNBA and WNBPA standoff is leaving players in an uncertain position, with many already playing in multiple leagues and planning for the next steps. The WNBPA submitted its response to the WNBA’s proposal on Valentine’s Day, requesting a better offer. But the WNBPA vice president hinted at progress.
Talking about the recent proposal on her ‘Game Recognizes Game’ podcast, Stewart said, “The CBA proposal that we got, there’s movement. We got traction. We’re finally headed in a direction. So I’m excited. I’m excited to hopefully negotiate back, and really kind of do the negotiations.”

According to the WNBPA’s demands and the WNBA’s proposal, the league is close to halfway through its commercial offer, while the players are pushing for more in crunch time, given the time left before the start of the season.
