Brittney Griner did not have a merry 2025. Donning the colors of the Atlanta Dream, the team finished the regular season on a high note. With a 30-14 record, the Hawks wanted to make a push for the championship. Unfortunately, their run was cut off by a gritty display from the Indiana Fever.
Immediately after the season was over, rumors about Griner parting ways with Atlanta surfaced. Thankfully for her fans, the 35-year-old star shut the rumors down. And now, dropping a crucial update, the Dream star has gotten back some of her belongings from Russia.

Brittney Griner Excited To Retrieve Personal Belongings From Russia
Apart from the WNBA, Griner has played basketball in leagues from all over the world. Back in February 2022, Griner went through a nightmare. Airport authorities arrested the WNBA star after finding vape cartridges containing cannabis oil in her possession.
With things turning worse, the WNBA star had to spend 293 days inside a Russian prison. After what was a lengthy negotiation, the US government intervened and agreed to swap Russian prisoner Viktor Bout for Griner.
Finally, in February 2026, the Hawks’ star announced on social media that she had received all of her belongings from Russia. Griner shared an Instagram reel and expressed how elated she was to have received the items. She also went on to drop a full unboxing video of the same.

Brittney Griner Launches Latest Venture To Help Foreign Travelers

Grinner has recently launched ZennJet. This is a membership-based travel organization that will help International travelers with their prescribed medicines. Furthermore, the venture will also aim to help the travelers at every point in their travel to avoid unwanted circumstances.
“I never want anybody to go through what I went through. I’m aware that I’m very blessed and very lucky to have an agency team, my wife and everybody behind me. I want people to be able to be aware, informed and to know where they’re going, where they’re traveling,” said Griner to USA Today.
Thus, with things looking rosy at the moment, Griner would now like to focus fully on her upcoming WNBA season.
