Brittney Griner has been making waves lately. After having a quiet WNBA season warming the bench, the star athlete is now eager to prove herself in the Unrivaled. Unfortunately, despite her best efforts, a missed shot during practice led fans to troll her.
But as it turns out, it is not easy to hold Griner down. In a recent announcement, she launched her latest business venture, which puts stress on carrying prescribed medications internationally. Now, while it might look like an ordinary business decision, the story behind it is far more intriguing.

Brittney Griner’s Latest Venture Inspired By Her Arrest
Back on February 17, 2022, Griner was detained at the Russian airport for the possession of vape cartridges. Unfortunately for the WNBA star, the cartridges also contained cannabis oil, for which Griner was arrested and had to spend 10 months in prison.
Shook by the incident, Griner recently launched Zennjet. This brand-new travel membership organization will help international travelers who are compelled to carry prescribed medications on flights. It will also aim to provide better safety and information during their travel.
Inspired by her traumatizing arrest in Russia, Griner told USA Today, “I never want anybody to go through what I went through. I’m aware that I’m very blessed and very lucky to have an agency team, my wife and everybody behind me. I want people to be able to be aware, informed and to know where they’re going, where they’re traveling.”

Surely, with Griner taking such a great initiative, it now remains to be seen how her company fares. Meanwhile, after the WNBA star was eliminated from the tournament early, Griner shared her concerns about the growing physicality in the league last year.
Brittney Griner Supported Becky Hammon’s Take On Physicality
Becky Hammon did win the WNBA title. However, as things got utterly physical, the Las Vegas Aces’ coach looked quite frustrated. Speaking about the same, Hammon even said that so much physicality might not even be allowed in the NBA.
“Most of my assistants come from the NBA, and they’re like, this would not fly in the NBA. This level of physicality would not fly in the NBA. There would be fights. There would be fights. We just have very well-mannered women that can get to the next play, but there would be fights,” Hammon said.
Supporting this claim, Griner shared Hammon’s statement on her Instagram story and wrote, “True.”
Thus, with things looking pretty intriguing, fans will be eager to know how Griner’s latest business venture will turn out.
