The Atlanta Dream continue to shine in the second phase of the WNBA 2025 season. The side now stands second in the league standings with 10 wins in 13 games since the All-Star break. Offensively, the well-oiled team finds defensive stability in Brittney Griner, who once again takes control of the paint region with authority.
The star forward came off the bench after recovering from her neck issue. Yet she delivered a commanding performance to help her side win the game. Her wife, Cherelle Griner, had words of encouragement for the superstar.

Since her return from injury, the shot blocker has been on minute restrictions, playing off the bench for the first time. After splitting games with the Seattle Storm, the Dream side played against the Valkyries on August 17.

Grinner came off the bench for the third game in a row and scored just eight points, collecting six rebounds in the process. Putting in efforts for the side’s strong run, the veteran forward remained in top condition and received praise from her wife.
Sharing a courtside moment with the Atlanta star on her Instagram reel, she wrote, “Been watching you play since our Baylor days in 2011 and I still have the same admiration!!! I Love you Down.”
The player also shared a special message and thanked everyone for the love received at the Chase Center.
