The WNBA season will start in just one month, and Caitlin Clark is looking to make the most of it before investing herself in the Fever’s quest for a championship. Though she is working on her game, she is also trying to keep herself fresh with some off-court fun activities, too.
Recently, Clark volunteered for a fun Chicago challenge during the offseason appearance at the MLB stadium. As the post went viral, the player also got an unforeseen invite.

Caitlin Clark Receives Special Invitation in Chicago
During the MLB postseason, Clark extended her support for the Chicago Cubs. The side created history with their first playoff appearance since 2020 and first in a full season since 2018. While recently she extended the love with her ‘fun request’, she got an actual call from the broadcasters.
During the recent broadcast of the game, presenter Taylor McGregor said, “Caitlin Clark, if you are listening, let this be your official invitation to Wrigley Field this summer to taste test some chocolate chip cookies with me and everybody else at Marquee Sports Network.”

She added, “And if you’re wondering why chocolate chip cookies, the Cubs put out a tweet a couple days ago asking fans to submit their favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and stories to why that recipe should be selected based upon their Cubs fandom. Caitlin replied and said she would happily volunteer as a taste tester, so this is like my Travis Kelce moment to Taylor Swift, but only it’s me to Caitlin Clark saying ‘come be my friend.’”

The 24-year-old might as well attend the fun event, attracting some fans to the event too.
Apart from the off-court work, the player is also looking at the Fever side’s upgrades and reacted to the news of the new training facility.
Caitlin Clark Hyped Up For New Fever Training Facility
Ever since the Fever landed the former Iowa star as its first overall pick in 2024, its stake in the league has risen. While they didn’t win a WNBA championship, the Commissioner’s Cup Title was one of the many cups for the side. The side also invested in the facilities, and recently, President Kelly Krauskopf handed an update on the progress of its $78 million facility.
Reacting to the post, CC wrote, “Find me here.”
The words would encourage Fever fans, with the team’s superstar showing eagerness to continue to work with the franchise and develop, too. As per the latest update, the team handed Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell extension offers in the free agency, who will join CC in the new facility.
