After the impressive 2025 season, it seemed hard to make an upgrade on the already talented and potent Indiana Fever team. Star player Caitlin Clark was honest about the Indiana Fever’s tough roster decisions.
While the roster decisions were tough, the franchise addressed its coaching staff needs by adding Rob Dosier in the offseason. Following the injury to their regular player development coach, Keith Porter, HC Stephanie White has taken out one of the best options available, and players are already excited about the news.
Caitlin Clark Hypes Up Indiana Fever’s New Coach Appointment
It’s nearly one month into the WNBA offseason, and yet there have been no player movements or trades. While CBA discussions are halting player transfers and signings, franchises are stacking their support and coaching staffs. The biggest winner yet was Toronto Tempo, which appointed Sandy Brondello as its head coach. But the Indiana Fever came up with a brilliant addition of their own.

The franchise announced the hiring of Rob Dosier as player development coach on November 3. Lexie Hull and superstar Caitlin Clark were excited by the new addition as the 2024 rookie shared the news on her Instagram story.

But that’s not all. The player can even work with LeBron James and Kevin Durant’s coach, as a recent update provided exciting news for the Fever fans.
Caitlin Clark Has A Chance To Work With Another NBA Coach
While the former Iowa star took over the league in her rookie season only, she caught the attention of one of the top coaches in the NBA, Chris Brickley. The elite skill development coach trained many NBA superstars and even expressed a desire to work with the WNBA Sensation. Sadly, it didn’t work out in the 2024 season, but he recently put forward an offer again.
The famous coach spoke about the 2024 incident in an interview and concluded his narration with an exciting offer. He said, “This offseason, I’m hoping that she’ll come to New York and we’ll get some work in.”

"I'm hoping now this off season that she'll come to New York and we'll get some work in…Man, she's the reason why the WNBA has become so big. I'd love to work with her…and I love her competitiveness." pic.twitter.com/XCrVWUsVBc
The idea thrilled many basketball fanatics as they urged the Fever star to accept the offer. Now, with the addition of Dosier, the playmaker has a chance to refine her skills and gameplay under two top coaches. The Fever franchise is once again investing heavily in its roster and coaching staff to win a championship and keep CC on the roster for a longer period.
