While the player went on to become the college sensation and record setter WNBA player, Excel Sports Management also reached new highs, and now Goldman Sachs is offering $ 1 billion for its majority stake.

As per the Financial Times, investment banking firm Goldman Sachs is in “late-stage” talks to acquire a majority stake in Excel Sports Management, and the deal could happen “as soon as next week.” Even though the deal won’t affect the players directly, their agency gets financial stability following the agreement.
