Dave Portnoy is a straightforward guy; everyone knows that so far about the Barstool owner. Openly supporting Caitlin Clrk, throughout her career, Portnoy famously said, “I don’t like Angel Reese”. While critics try to sugarcoat their comments, the entrepreneur is very vocal about his views.
But he is not a fan of basketball only, and recently gave his predictions for the Cy-Hawk game. As a special guest on the ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ show, he made the prediction.
Dave Portnoy Predicts The Winner Between Iowa State And Iowa
The regional rivalry between the two teams is not limited to basketball but also covers all sports. The college football season is underway now, and both teams will face each other in the coming days.

The Fox crew was covering the game and took it between the fans on the road. Obviously, everyone had their views, and the four-person panel revealed its picks and predictions just before the game’s start. While the other three supported Iowa State to win the game, Portnoy supported Iowa as the winner.
“So coming into the season, I actually thought Iowa would be a sleeper team, because the quarterback is from South Dakota and he looked awful this season.. But here we go,” Portnoy said as he undressed the Iowa State clothes to show support to Iowa with Caitlin Clark’s Jersey underneath.
He even added that the away teams are doing better, and he expects the quarterback to do much better. He even mentioned that he talked to the Fever guard on the phone, and she said, “Trust me, the Hawkeyes are gonna win this game.”

Well, Portnoy is the biggest fan of the 2024 rookie and supports her decisions. Portnoy even slammed an ESPN analyst for his controversial comments on Clark.
Portnoy Supports Caitlin Clark And WNBA Players’ Demand For Pay Raise
Keeping the predictions aside, the entrepreneur got serious about the WNBA players’ demands for a pay raise amid the CBA Negotiations fiasco during the All-Star Game. When players, including CC, wore ‘Pay Us What You Owe Us’ t-shirts, many criticized the moment players chose to raise their voices.
But Portnoy showed his support and posted a video on social media. “I don’t know how anybody in the world with a brain, and maybe my brain is just bigger than most, can rationally say women don’t deserve more money at this point,” said Portnoy.
