The Indiana Fever continued its stellar season with a win in the first round against a strong Atlanta Dream team. The side stayed close to the host’s total throughout the eliminator game. While Stephanie White highlighted Aliyah Boston’s tech foul as a turning point in the game, Lexie Hull’s steal also played a crucial role in the victory. Caitlin Clark and bench players were ecstatic after the play.
The Fever will now play against the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinal. It could be a tough challenge for Indiana’s side, but the HC and Fever bench are currently enjoying a win over the Atlanta Dream.
Caitlin Clark And Indiana Fever Players Wildly Celebrate Lexie Hull’s Winning Steal
The Indiana Fever had just a one-point lead in the eliminator game with 7.4 seconds left in regulation time, and the Atlanta Dream had possession of the ball. While it was the Indiana Fever’s first-ever lead in the game, the bench looked tense, considering a possible game-winner for the Dream side.

Experienced Rhyne Howard tried to inbound the ball for the team’s leading scorer, Allisha Grey. But the 25-year-old Fever forward was a step ahead, intercepted the pass, and won the possession back for the Fever team. Players then shared the position, and the home side had no other choice but to foul.
Forgetting all the injuries, Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, and Chloe Bibby were jumping up and down with joy. The 2024 rookie was all smiles before hugging her teammates and her coaching staff, too.
