Caitlin Clark was not active during the Indiana Fever’s impressive playoff run, but supported her team from the sidelines. She lauded her teammates for the incredible season. Even in her exit interview, Clark gave Lexie Hull her flowers for her performance in the season. But now it’s the offseason and time to check on some other sports activities also.
A die-hard Indiana sports fan, the 2024 rookie was at the Colts’ game against the Oakland Raiders at Lucas Oil Stadium. And the Colts weren’t going to let this opportunity pass, as they presented CC with a personalized gift.
Caitlin Clark Gets Heartfelt Gift From Indiana Colts
The Fever rookie has multiple interests in football and golf, which she combines with her passion for basketball. The player, whenever she gets free time, tries to attend a few high-profile games. Her first offseason appearance was at the Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts vs the Raiders game.

The former Iowa star was with her teammates Aari McDonald, Makayla Timpson, and Natasha Howard. The Indiana Colts gifted the Fever stars personalized jerseys with their basketball jersey numbers and names written on them.

Interestingly, Clark is a Kansas City Chiefs fan. So, the assist-maker, like ‘the quarterback’ of the Fever team, refused to wear the jersey and held it for the photographs. But her presence and support in the game were important as the Colts went on to win the game by 40-6 to improve their record to 4-1 in the season.

On the basketball front, CC was among the names Napheesa Collier took as the Lynx forward criticized the WNBA Commissioner. HC Stephanie White was not happy with how things turned out after Collier and Engelbert’s speeches. The head coach criticized the use of the star rookie’s name in WNBA CBA negotiations. White called Clark a “pawn in others’ games”. For the 23-year-old star, though, her goal is set.
Caitlin Clark To Miss Unrivaled In WNBA Offseason
The two-time All-Star has her priorities in line, as she mentioned that her primary focus is to get fully fit for the next season. With multiple WNBA players, including CC’s teammates, participating in the Unrivaled league, the playmaker decides to take a break and work on her injuries.
“I will probably take a little bit of a break here, just for maybe a week. I don’t really want to set back the work I’ve done. I’m just trying to get my body back to full health, and some basketball stuff I need to get ready for. But more than anything, I think my main focus is really just getting my body healthy,” Clark said in the exit interview.
Clark suffered an ankle injury, which extended her recovery period, ruling her out for the postseason games. It’s great news for the Fever fans to see her dedicating her efforts towards the team’s success.
