Many feared for the possibility of the 2026 season, given the CBA situation in March. Most of the fans were waiting for the Caitlin Clark’s return after the player missed the majority of the 2025 season due to injury. They got to see the Fever star on the court in five games for Team USA during the FIBA World Cup qualifiers, but it even increased their hunger to see her in action.
And now, after 17 months of long discussions, the deal is finally on the table, with the 2026 season starting on May 8. But there will be one more surprise for Clark fans.

Caitlin Clark To Take Court In New Look
The Fever star shone at Team USA’s campaign at the FIBA World Cup qualifiers and even won a top individual accolade. While fans loved her performance and were happy to see her at her best shape and touch, the player recently dropped an unexpected change of look.
On social media, Clark shows off her new curly hair and even wrote, “Obsessed” caption. The player has shared her workout or training camp photos, and with that, her ‘new look’ post as a surprise for fans.
Interestingly, the post had a ‘limited comments’ option, but all those comments were praising the 24-year-old for her hair work.

Caitlin Clark’s Possible New Salary Under New CBA
The former Iowa star signed a rookie contract in 2024 and made less than $80,000 in 2025. But now the new CBA deal will increase her nearly seven times her old salary.
The CBA deal includes a brand-new provision called “Exceptional Performance on Initial Contract”.
This provision will take her salary to $530,000 in 2026, according to ESPN’s Alexa Philippou. In 2027, she could earn a maximum $1.3 million salary in 2027. The Fever then would be able to sign Clark to a $1.7 million supermax contract in 2028.
