Team USA is preparing for the FIBA World Cup qualifiers as it begins its two-day training camp in North Carolina. Caitlin Clark’s Team USA return sparks WNBA fan frenzy after injury setback, as they were happy to see the star back on the floor after missing four months of action. But they might not be the only excited fans.
Paige Bueckers, who was widely considered the rival to CC, showed love for the Fever guard in her recent social media activity. Interestingly, many portrayed them as ‘haters of each other’, given their college and WNBA rivalry.

These intense games started chatter about the ‘hate’ between the former Iowa and UConn players. But with recent comments on the Team USA post, the 2025 rookie denied the notion. While Team USA shared Clark’s photo in a team jersey, Bueckers was the first responder and wrote, “My Idol.”

A two-word reaction shut down all the narrative and instead showcased mutual respect for each other. Clark also praised the rookie when she entered the league and lauded her capabilities on the court.
