The unanimous approval from the Board of Governors and the WNBPA members ensures the 2026 season starts on time. The Gainbridge Fieldhouse will be ready to welcome its favorite Fever team to take the center court following the mega CBA deal. One thing that assures a packed area is the availability of Caitlin Clark for the season, as the player is still under contract with the Fever franchise and fit to play.
But fans did not have to wait for much as the 2024 rookie attended the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Indiana Pacers with her boyfriend. For the first half, the player, though, had other duties on her agenda as she took over the photographer role.

Caitlin Clark Moves Behind The Camera
During her rehab phase, the 2024 rookie showed the world her photography hobby, clicking pictures during games and practice sessions. Many would have thought it to be a one-time ‘gig’, but the player recently showed her mastery of ‘photography’ during the game at the Gainbridge Arena.
CC sat at the designated spot for the official photographers and snapped some moments, pre-game and during the game. While the Indiana Fever shared a snap of CC as a photographer, the player responded with a post: “Got some good stuff coming.”

She even shot a photo of Tyrese Haliburton with his fiancée and during the game, too, as the injured star attended to show support for his Pacers team. Cameras caught her checking for moments to take a photo and also singling out players for her collection. She even shared photos of LeBron James in action and captioned the post: “The King…. Shot by Me.”

On one occasion, she pointed out that she would take photographs of Obi Toppin, who plays for the Pacers team. While his one photo is making rounds on the internet, the player also seemed impressed by the Fever guard’s skills.

The Indiana Pacers are struggling in the 2025-26 season without their star player and are already out of the playoff race with a 16-57 record. Obi Topin also struggled with injuries during the season and featured in just 15 games with three starts. After the Lakers game, he spoke about the Fever playmakers capturing the game moments.
When a reporter asked him about his views on CC taking a couple of his photos, he said, “That is super cool. I (have) seen one of me dunking. She took some of really good photos, but that’s cool, I need to do that too. I need to take some pictures.”
On the work front, Caitlin Clark aims for a ‘special’ year in women’s sports following a massive pay raise via the CBA, and also will look to compete for the championship with the Fever team and Team USA.
