The Indiana Fever is looking to add new faces to the roster, with Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson out for the season. Following uncertain return date of Caitlin Clark, the team already signed Odessey Sims on a hardship exception contract. But the front office also added five new players to the roster.
The 2024 rookie is happy with the new additions and showed her support as soon as the team made the signings public. The player will receive massive boost from CC’s two-word message.
Caitlin Clark Reacts To Fever’s New Additions
Aggressive and competitive on the court, the 2024 top pick rookie is soft at heart. Her philanthropic activities and off-court demeanor highlight her nature. She had already welcomed Odyssey Sim at the training camp and was at the forefront of greeting five new teammates.
Yes, the Indiana Fever added five new players to the roster as an endearing gesture to show their support for the athletes of Special Olympics of Indiana.
“We’re proud to welcome five athletes from Special Olympics of Indiana as our newest teammates. They got glammed up, made their red carpet debuts, joined us for practice, and picked up some fresh fits at the @feverteamstore,” the Fever posted on Instagram, making the signings official.
Caitlin Clark was one of the first to comment on the post. She liked the post and wrote “My heart”. She also led the team in clapping during the player signing moment. The team welcomed the special players with open arms. New players were excited and touched by the Indiana franchise players’ gesture.

Caitlin Clark Showing Love For Injured Teammates
While the player was out of action, she was always on the court supporting her teammates in nearly every game. When McDonald and Colson got injured during a game against the Phoenix Mercury, CC shared the news and showered her love for both her teammates on social media, via Instagram story. It came at a time when the Fever is already giving injury scare to it’s fans.

Also, just before welcoming the new teammates for the Special Olympics, the Fever superstar helped Colson and McDonald, who came to the training camp on a scooter and crutches, respectively.
Sadly, there was no training conducted on the day keeping the 23-year-old star’s availability still under the wraps.
