Can anyone keep Caitlin Clark away from a record? The answer would be no. Even when she is not playing on the court, the former Iowa star makes history with her off-court records. She sets the bar high with her new record, cementing her position as the most outstanding female athlete.
The star has been out of action for a long time, and the team is awaiting her return from injury. In the midst of this, there was a public card auction that handed the 23-year-old star another record.
Caitlin Clark Rookie Card Sets New Record
At the end of July, the Fever guard’s 2024 Panini Flawless WNBA Platinum Rookie Logowoman Patch Auto 1/1 card was sold for a record-setting $660,000. The event at Fanatics Collect Premier Auction set a record for the highest sale of a women’s sports card of all time. At the time, there was an announcement of the playmaker’s another such card in a week’s period.
Now, her next card, Immaculate Logowoman 1/1, was sold for $317,200. This is the third-highest sale for any women’s athlete card at public auction. Caitlin Clark occupies the top three positions in minted card sale auctions. She overtook Serena Williams, who held the top position for many years.

The card has the player’s authentic signature, handwritten on it. It also has ROY 24 (Rookie of the Year 2024) engraved on it. Interestingly, the Indiana Fever guard now has 11 cards in the public sales of $100,000 or more and three of $300,000-plus. This is another record for a women’s athlete, highlighting her star power and popularity.
The 6 foot guard had a record breaking rookie season. She averaged 19.2 points and had league-best 8.2 assists in her first season. She even finished fourth in the MVP voting, marking her dominance in the league.

Caitlin Clark Closing In On Return To Action
The massive fan following for CC tops the number of parameters – TV ratings, ticket sales, merchandise sales, and now with the card valuation. But the fans have seen her in 13 games only during the 2025 season. The player suffered a quad injury and also a groin injury, sidelining her for 19 games to date. While she mentioned her struggles in that period, the wait is nearly over.

But to much of the fans’ excitement, the player’s injury status is now a ‘game-time decision’. That’s a major upgrade from her previous ‘day-to-day’ status. The Indiana Fever team provided updates ahead of the team’s clash against the Dallas Wings.
The timing of the playmaker’s return wouldn’t be perfect for her side, as the franchise has no designated point guard at the moment. Aari McDonald (broken leg) and Sydney Colson (ACL injury) suffered season-ending injuries. It will be interesting to watch the star thrive on the court once again, maybe setting new on-court records as well.
