Caitlin Clark had one of the most frustrating seasons this year. After winning last year’s Rookie of the Year award, the Iowa star faced high expectations. Unfortunately, owing to a lingering injury, Clark had no choice but to retire to the bench. Now, as the season has come to an end, the Indiana Fever star has been enjoying her time delving into other sports.
Clark was recently found cheering the Chicago Cubs. And now, she was spotted enjoying an NFL game with Taylor Swift. Clark had been a close ally of Swift for a long time. Moreover, the duo has appeared together several times on the NFL field. And now, as the Kansas City Chiefs played the Detroit Lions, the Fever star looked all hyped up.
Caitlin Clark Enjoys NFL Action With Taylor Swift
The Kansas City Chiefs took on the Detroit Pistons in a recent NFL face-off. And while the game was already a high-profile rivalry, Clark’s presence hyped up the scenario further. As cameras focused on the Fever star, she enjoyed the action alongside Taylor Swift and the Kelce family. They sat in a suite at GEHA Field in Arrowhead Stadium. Surely, Clark’s attendance hyped up the fans significantly.

This was not Clark’s first time attending an NFL game this season. In fact, fans went nuts following Clark’s big screen appearance at an Indianapolis Colts game. Meanwhile, she and Swift sat together in the VIP box on January 18, 2025. Additionally, the game against the Lions marked the first time Swift attended a Chiefs game post her engagement with Travis Kelce.

Stephanie White Does Not Want Caitlin Clark To Be Used As A ‘Pawn’
In a recent turn of events, Napheesa Collier pointed out that the league commissioner, Cathy Engelbert, has made some controversial comments. Moreover, the Lynx star stated that Engelbert allegedly said that Clark must be thankful to the league, as she is making $16 million. With it, a swarm of controversies has popped up. And Clark’s name has also been doing the rounds on a consistent basis. Fever head coach Stephanie White said she doesn’t want anyone to use Clark as a “pawn.”

“A pawn in a lot of other people’s games and narratives. I hate it all for Caitlin. She’s a 23-year-old kid who loves to play this game, who is a pawn in a lot of people’s games and narratives. I hate that for her,” White said.
Thus, it is evident that some might use Clark’s popularity in a negative way. And as the CBA talks deepen, the situation is becoming more and more sensitive.
