Caitlin Clark Makes Team USA Basketball Decision Crystal Clear
On a serious note, CC will be preparing for international basketball games, as she mentioned in her exit interview. The player will have an extended break and time to recover and start preparing for events in her mind.
“There’s some USA basketball stuff I need to get ready for. And I need to be able to find some runs and ways to play five-on-five, just so I can kind of get that feel back. But more than anything, I think my main focus is really just getting my body healthy,” Clark said.
Even though the star playmaker was not part of the 2024 Olympics team, she played basketball on the international stage during her high school and college days, winning two FIBA U19 World Cups and the FIBA Americas’ U-16 Championship. But she is yet to play at the senior level for Team USA.
There are currently major FIBA Events for the Team USA women’s basketball team, including five-on-five events and other competitions, before the next WNBA season begins. However, according to multiple reports, Team USA will hold a training camp early in March 2026.
