After playing in just 13 games in the 2025 season, Caitlin Clark was eager to be back on the floor. She worked hard during the rehab process and even shone in USA basketball games, proving her fitness and eagerness to be back on the floor. The player had ‘unfinished business’ and wanted her 2025 team back together to complete the same.
Clark mentioned Kelsey Mitchel as a priority for the Indiana Fever and also added Sophie Cunningham’s name on a timely basis, making sure that she gets her favorite teammates on the roster. While the franchise put together nearly the entire 2025 roster, CC gave a shout-out to everyone’s return and now a special mention for Cunningham, too.

With the Fever team having only three players under contract, there were many spots to fill. The franchise prioritized its signings and added them one by one, keeping one eye on the salary cap as well. The team strategically signed a few players to one-year contracts, including Sophie Cunningham and Kelsey Mitchell, with Ailyah Boston’s contract up for renewal in the 2027 season.
Amid this, keeping the commercials aside, the 2024 rookie showed love for Cunningham’s arrival and shared the Fever’s post on her Instagram story.

It is important to note that when the Franchise added Lexie Hull, Clark also had a message for Cunningham, asking her what she was doing. Two days later, Cunningham also signed her new contract with Indiana.

Caitlin Clark Returns To Golf Once Again Ahead Of WNBA 2026 Season
A month after the WNBA season was over, Clark impressed her teammates with her golf proficiency at Annika Pro-Am alongside Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull. While the player received widespread praise for her ‘pro-level’ game, she returned to the golf course, this time to witness the Masters.
The 24-year-old, along with Hull, used the free time to attend the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club. Rory McIlroy won his second consecutive Masters title, outlasting world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler by one stroke.
